Some great games to look forward to in this grade! With Bishopstown down and a rejuvenated and hungry Glen Rovers back up, this grade is getting tighter by the year. Fr O Neills and Erins Own capable of a scalp too. But I see the Glen proving a point and qualifying out of the group with Munster champs, Sars.

From a North Cork perspective, Charleville v Newtownshandrum will be a tasty fixture. Newtown having bragging rights over the last 25 years in that pocket of North Cork. But Charleville have had a great 10 year and now have an opportunity to turn the bragging rights in their favour. Newcestown will be dark horses for sure but the winners of the North Cork Derby might gain qualification with Midleton.

Kanturk had a great season this year but with Donal Cronin gone as coach and now in a difficult group, they will be under pressure. If Douglas underperform, they could also be under pressure. The Barrs are due a big year too after an underwhelming two seasons. Blackrock should get out of that group with the Barrs.

After getting very tight in this grade, I don't even think there is a standout favourite for relegation next year. Wouldn't surprise me if Douglas were in trouble by end of championship

There's a few dingers in there. You'd expect Sars out of group 1,the rest is a dog fight. Newtown and Midleton out of Group 2. Blackrock and the Barrs you'd think but Kanturk always produce. Looking forward to it.
