Clon don’t knock. We just open the door. To be honest the club actually turn away a couple of guys every year from neighbouring junior clubs who want to join up.Are clon knocking?
He went to national school in a a neighbouring parish where he was thought the skills ot the game. That parish is a dual senior club but wouldn't think they have deep pockets and not known as poachers. They play by the rules most of the timeThere wont be an additional Daly in clon next year unfortunately fox, as good as it would be for the betterment of west cork football. Due to him being an exceptional hurler its a certain dual code blue juggernaut up in cork that are going to be securing his signature.
A lot of teams would relish the opportunity to play in front of a crowd in Ahamillahttps://www.echolive.ie/corksport/arid-41663498.html
Home and away championship games.
It would certainly add something to the group games imo.
It would be great for the traditional west cork clubs like Clon, Ross and the Haven…all of whom who have great championship venues and would draw huge crowds no doubt.
The likes of Douglas, the Barrs and Bishopstown would be a different story, no stands or decent viewing areas really….atmosphere obviously would be a major problem also as they would likely get the usual 3 men and a dog in attendance.
Without a doubt, for young lads growing up in the football heartland of West Cork, it’s very much their dream to play in front of a packed Ahamilla.A lot of teams would relish the opportunity to play in front of a crowd in Ahamilla
