I listened to his interview this morning after their win Friday night. Very impressed with him. Also Sherlocks interview. He's loving the new rules. Have to admire him.
Watched the game again. Great stuff by both teams. Looking forward to the championship in 3 weeks time. I'll back track a bit and say both will get out of the group. Haven't seen Carrigaline enough to comment properly but they are a big physical team even without their lads gone travelling plus BOD will be a huge addition. They gave Clon enough of it in the league.
Ross I'm afraid are out of their depth. Haven't adjusted to the new rules going by the game Friday night.
You'd expect to see Barrs, Clon/ Carrigaline, Nemo, Haven, maybe Newcestown at the buisness end of things with Ross fighting again to stay up with St Michael's

The only way someone like JBM could get involved would be as a number 2 or 3 to a more established and successful football manager like Haulie ONeill.

While JBM is adored and respected, he just doesn’t have the football management credentials of Haulie who is one of the most highly regarded football managers in the country.

If as expected Clon win Andy Scannell this year there’ll be deafening calls for Mazzer to get the number one job. Maybe a 3 way ticket with himself, Haulie and JBM could work.

All gents no doubt, but Clownihan, Peadar the Plodder and John Clearly Clueless have had their bite of the cherry and fallen short.

Haulie is by some distance a better manager than each, it’s time for the CCB to swallow their pride, back him and give him the number one job he should have been given decades ago.
