2025 Premier Senior Football Championship

Imagine that. Would love it !
Well they got to a league 1 final this year playing all the top.teams .

I.know its only league and guys will say they are missing so many players etc but KG did it without 3 of their better players who were involved with cork .

They are a very solid strong team who also train hard and have a manager who knows how to win ..

Barrs v Carrigaline (Barrs)
Mallow v Douglas (Mallow)
Newcestown v Nemo (Nemo)
Knocknagree v Clon (Draw)
Haven v Ballincollig (Haven)
Michaels v Valleys (Valleys)

I am nervous about Fridays game against CArrigaline as over the last few years we started slowly beat Douglas by a point 2 years ago and a lowly Clon by a point . This time hopefully we have 3 weeks to prepare and a 4th for the hurling against Midleton

Lot of confidence behind Knocknagree. They’ve been hammered in the betting.
I don't know would it take much to move the odds on the club games but there's maybe a few confident punters in Knocknagree.

Personally I don't think they'll have enough to topple us but to be fair we're under no illusions in Clon that it'll be a hell of a battle and probably every bit as tough as the Haven game as Knock will come with huge motivation in their first senior championship game, particularly as it's against a traditional powerhouse like Clon.

Whatever happens I'm sure it'll be a proud day for Knocknagree. What an achievement to have progressed through the ranks so quickly. To be playing against Cork's longest serving senior team in their first ever championship game at this level must be a dream come through for their players and supporters.
