2025 Premier Senior Football Championship

Few cracking ties this weekend in fairness. Wouldn't surprise me to see a few draws.

Barrs v Carrigaline (Barrs by 4)
Mallow v Douglas (Draw)
Newcestown v Nemo (Nemo by 2)
Knocknagree v Clon (Draw)
Haven v Ballincollig (Haven by 5)
Michaels v Valleys (Valleys by 7)

Barrs to win it outright
Michaels to be relegated

Some cracking games this weekend and plenty of room for a few upsets

Barrs v Carrigaline (Barrs by 5)
Mallow v Douglas (Mallow by 2)
Newcestown v Nemo (Nemo by 6)
Knocknagree v Clon (Knock by 1)
Haven v Ballincollig ( Haven by 4)
Michaels v Valleys (Valleys by 2)

Michaels to be relegated
Barrs to win it out

Not sure Fox I think knocknagree could be dark horses for honours this year ..
They're a decent team no doubt with a couple of strong performers who are top level PSFC players but I don't see them having anywhere near enough quality throughout the rest of the team and on the bench to win it out. But if they come out of the group of death, who knows.

At the weekend:
Barrs
Mallow
Newcestown
Valleys
Haven
Knocknagree

Groups:
Barrs, Carrigaline
Newcestown, Nemo
Haven, Knocknagree

Barrs to win out and Michaels to go down.

Agree with most of above only for Mallow/Douglas. Think this will be there year.... for relegation.
Agreed, without Powter this could well be the year for them to go down. Here's hoping....
Although Michaels and Valleys are equally poor so could be equally capable of dropping down.

Spot on Trav. How Colm Calnan never played senior for Cork I'll never understand. He should have been our Declan Sullivan.

An excellent Clon team from the mid to late 00s had zero Cork representation despite being the second best team in the county behind Nemo during that period.
We won't mention how in 2007 a certain East Cork ref ROBBED that team of a win over eventual AI finalists Nemo by awarding them a ridiculous injury time penalty....a day that will live in infamy in the Brewery Town for a long long time.
Injury time? East Cork referee? Not how the Examiner remembers it.

Telling porkies again Foxy.

:ROFLMAO: Read it again my man...."replay"....although it's always nice to see someone trawling through the archives to read up on the mighty Brewery Boys.

Here's the one you were looking for, Clon with 14 for much of the game had Nemo beaten all ends up until Niall Barrett's miraculous intervention saved Nemo's 3 in a row attempt.

Sincere apologies.
