The bookies as usual seem to have called it right, putting the big 4 as the front runners.

Outside of the big 4 is it possible a new contender might emerge? Newcestown? Maybe Knocknagree? If they by some miracle emerge from the group of death they would certainly have some belief.

It’s hard to believe that we haven’t had a finalist from outside the big 4 in almost 7 years. Would be great to see a nice face in there.

Clon have made how many finals in the last 15 years Fox? In total now like?

I know very little about the senior football championship but even I'm fairly certain Clon aren't contenders. Their best chance of a county over the next few seasons will be if they get relegated to Senior A and have a go off that one instead.

Indeed they seem to be playing good football.

Hopefully Dylan ONeill will put together a good run in championship as he’s a potential IC senior. Physically has a lot of work to do but a prolonged run in the SAFC will be a great opportunity to showcase his talent.

Clon and Ross are currently 1 and 2
In the league, a league final between the pair would certainly draw a crowd.

Clon were without our 2 Cork lads, the 2 Whites, Dara OSe, Liam OD and our starting midfield. It was a do or die game for the Barrs really as they are on an awful run.

Good runout from our point of view, the younger lads and squad players are really putting their hands up for starting spot come championship. I don’t envy Mazzer’s job in picking a starting 15 for the Knocknagree game.

Our performances are boding very well for championship.
