Hard to believe when 3 O Driscoll brothers were on cork senior team they still couldnt win a carberry junior A title for their club ..

Now does that show how bad a senior football team cork had because imagine if a kerry team had 3 lads playing senior for kerry id be 100% certain they would win a novice competion with their club.

Novice in Kerry is actually a few grades higher than our junior 1.
And all they won was one or two divisional championships, went nowhere near the junior county, our 6th grade. Extraordinary that they 3 players on the Cork senior team!!

That last game barrs vs dingle was the biggest smash and grab since Johnny Maloney refereed Cork vs Kerry in 1976. To begin with Maguire didn’t overcarry, and actually dropped the ball. Secondly, no way ball/free could be advanced 50 yards . Referee decided on a Kerry win, and he succeeded. He’s due free pints in Geaney’s pub, no doubt… I’ll be hoping for a ballyboden win!
