2025 Premier Senior Football Championship

Deegan also saying they were lucky the ref didn't bring it up the right distance of 50m, so that the free would of been in the arc, which of course would of been a shorter kick to level the game, But Deegan of course knows that Geaney would of 100% opted to bring it out to kick a 2 pointer anyway "He was still going to have a go at the two-pointer regardless"
And Deegan was wrong about the distance anyway 'cos where Maguire was adjudicated to have committed the foul was 95m or so from the Barrs goal, i.e. about 55m from the arc.

Henry's Fonda

Here is my post, when you read the paragraph in bold where do I imply you stated refs don't get paid fees for AI finals? It was I who stated apparently that is the case, I never stated you did same.
You quoted my post and replied to me with.,.. Apparently referees don't get a bob for reffing an AI final

That is why I asked who said that because it wasn’t me. No biggie

I stated in my reply it was some referees themselves I've contact with and never stated it was you but correct it's no biggie. (y)

It was incredible, roll out Maurice deegan and have him come out with the great line it was a free even if the Dingle player made a meal of it…..outstanding stuff
Deegan also raised the point of clubs needing to educate players on the rules. Perhaps a subtle nod to a presumed lack of education associated with a socio-economically deprived area like Togher. A fair point some would argue - understanding the rules and game intelligence/common sense are all part of being a successful team.

Fox i have 1 last question to you
How did a team of bottlers manage to beat the mighty Clon not just once but in the league final as well
