2025 Premier Senior Football Championship

Why in the name of fuck are ye still fucking going on a team knocked out in the group stage?

What an absolute shit show of a thread.
Calm down Jukka. It's a general discussion about club players' training in the off season. It's not unreasonable for posters to draw reference to the world class training facilities in Ahamilla in comparison to what most other clubs are working with.

Anyway it's not like there's any interest in the PSFC any longer. Why would there be, neither club will bring more than 200/300 supporters to the final. It's a non-event. As others have pointed out, a Clon-Haven league final would likely draw a bigger crowd.

And whats it really got ya? No amount of money can buy you the championship, as it has done with other sports. For now at least your ability to play the game remains important. Perhaps you're hoping for the Saudis come in and establish LivGAA 😉

Foxy, it profits a man nothing to give his soul to win the All Ireland Club Championship, but for one win over the team that was relegated?

Agreed, our spending power is light years ahead of any other club in the PSFC due to the implementation of a hugely successful commercial strategy in the late 2010s. It's often said that the executive and administrative side of the club is more akin to a multinational than a traditional GAA club.

Clon is a hugely prosperous town with no shortage of highly skilled and highly paid workers, many of whom are C-Suite executives in MNCs. Fortunately many of them are more than happy to bring that expertise to the table in the running of the club. It's an approach other clubs should look at, but naturally the human resources aren't as readily available in less prosperous towns.

I accept your point, financial success doesn't translate into immediate on the field success, but it does allow us to develop young players to a level that other clubs just can't afford. The fruits of our commercial success will be borne in the coming years, mark my words. The young players from ages 8-16 are at a level that we have never before seen in the club. Truly, exciting times ahead for the Brewery Town.

That's nothing compared to the haven

If its Clon I'm threatened with, then I'm not threatened?
