Ah here, the Haven have gone stale, so there wasn't going to be a mad following of them this year, after the 2 great years they had..3/4 posts in this thread in the week in the run-up to the semi finals. We're barely even flogging a dead horse.
The PSFC is an absolute non-event without Clon and the Haven. There's more public interest in the SAFC and the intermediate. The CCB would be better drawing straws for who goes to Munster and saving on expenses as I'm not sure gate receipts for semis and final will even cover overheads.
It's incredible how 2 clubs can carry so much weight for the rest of the competition. It'd be like taking United and Liverpool out of the Premier League, it'd be all a bit meh.
A Clon-Haven final was the dream final for the neutral, it would have attracted a crowd in excess of 20k, a Barrs-Nemo final while it will be a good game of football, it won't capture the public's imagination and with 2 poorly supported clubs it likely will have no more than 2000 people in attendance.Ah here, the Haven have gone stale, so there wasn't going to be a mad following of them this year, after the 2 great years they had..
And there hasn't been much of a build up, because the semi finals are very predicable.
Barrs and nemo by 5 or more each.
Relegation playoff to be won by Ross..... by 4
They won 2 counties in the last 10 years. Hardly exceptional. Are the haven coming to an end of being the power house of cork football.? Damo , Mark C & Brian all were/ are the lads that make this team click. . Do they have lads to replace these exceptional players? Probably another kick left in this exceptional team.
In a three horse race as well. They won 2 counties in the last 10 years. Hardly exceptional.

Agreed on predictions...I'd expect Ross will win easier than expected.
I'd say Barrs could wipe the floor with Ballincollig they have fierce power sround the middle thirdI think these may be straightforward-ish, Nemo don't really get caught bye underdogs too often and Barrs will have plenty over Ballincollig, they haven't been great and were lucky to get over a less than vintage Duhallow side who just ran out of steam
Ya gone very stale they looked flat in meeting with Barrs and there resources on the bench would be tightAh here, the Haven have gone stale, so there wasn't going to be a mad following of them this year, after the 2 great years they had..
