2025 Premier Senior Football Championship

Massive crowd in Clon for the Haven barrs game. Ref just gave Bards the biggest gift ever. Black card for Haven goalie and penalty to barrs. Absolute joke of a decision tbh
Ahamilla was truly resplendent. Undoubtedly the best club ground in Cork. Once the plans to construct the viewing bank on the Eastern side of the main pitch come to frutition, it will likely be the best club ground to watch games in the country.

Well done to all involved in stewarding and security today, full credit to them for ensuring the day went without any incidents in the crowd. The club were fully aware of the potential for anti-social behaviour with a couple of hundred well-oiled individuals from a deprived area like Togher and acted accordingly by hiring external security staff for the day.

Whoever lines the pitch needs to take a trip to specsavers or had a terrible case of the shakes. Very poor lining for such a big game and lining is massively important in the current rules. The arc was like it was drawn up by a lad straight out of the pub!

Thought there was a huge Gardaí presence there alright

Well done to the Barrs, by far the better team. The Haven will be disappointed, as will the neutrals and the CCB - I know for a fact a few months ago many at county board level were expecting bumper gate receipts from the much predicted Clon-Haven final which would have drawn a crowd of in excess of 20,000 IMO.

Still it's good to see a few new faces in the semi finals - with 2 of the big 4 now gone, it would be great to see a club like Newcestown reach the promised land.
Have newcestown got the cutting to do it

Newcestown hang on in penalties. Would fancy there chances vs collig/duhallow and never know in a county final. Would be amazing if they won.
Edit: I see they are playing nemo which will be a different kettle of fish but you’d never know.
Would love to see Newcestown win it out. They have something special

Your vendetta against Seamus Hayes is unbecoming, particularly from yourself as a usually excellent contributor.

Seamus is a good guy steering a ship through choppy waters. Ross no longer have the players to excel at PSFC, the best he can do is retain current status and hope a few quality young players come through.

Anyone in Ross thinking otherwise needs a wake up call. They were traditionally a junior club, who happened upon a great group of players (McMahon, the Hayes, Fitzpatrick, Shanahan, ORourke etc) who all came through at the same time. Those players are gone now (except JOR) and aren't easily replaced. Very very similiar situation to Ilen Rovers, and look where they are now - essentially back playing junior football.
Seamus/ Foxy would you ever give over.
Embarrassing post .
Seamus may have been a great player but he sure as hell is out of his depth as a manager.

Ross have lost most if not all of their best players in the last 2/3 years. Seamus has had to work miracles to keep them up and deserves huge credit for doing so. The young players coming in are nowhere near the level of those they are replacing.

There’s a case to be made that he has been one of the best managers in the PSFC as keeping that Ross team up during his tenure has been huge achievement. I can tell you from speaking to Ross men that there is a loyal majority of the club fully behind him and that the job is his on an ongoing basis if he wants it.

Like I said your personal vendetta against him is unbecoming and is looking increasingly like a vindictive campaign of personal abuse being waged for reasons that lie outside of football.
