2025 Junior A Football Championship

Same story different year.
They are the biggest buffers around . Going no where fast.
And St James the same.
Who are your county favourites? Junior A can be an absolute minefield..any team can get on a run and win it from nowhere..from what I've seen Aghinagh, Ballygarvan, LC Gaels and Kilmacabea are the best teams in it..Argideen would be worth a punt aswell all depending how their hurlers go

Donoughmore beaten by Ballincollig in Muskerry would seem like a surprise but probably not. If they were to meet again in a few months in a final Donoughmore would win by 10+
You’ve done awful spouting in recent times. First muskerry game I’ve been 2 in a long time!

Serious quality. You’re beloved killmichael will do well to meet either of these crowds lol

My beloved Kilmichael ? Haha couldn't be more wrong there sir and you completely missed my point aswell. Donoghmore are the best team in Muskerry at the moment. My point is the skewdness of meeting a second team in the first round comparing to meeting them in a semi final or final.

I don’t know anything about Donoghmore personally but your point about 2nd teams is spot on
In the ideal world there would be no junior championship until the senior/intermediate grades 1st round is played. But with this county fixture schedule and the divisional boards inability to finish their leagues and championships on time already that ain’t going to happen.

Nobody from Carbery Division anyway.
Ballygarvan

A lot harder to win the county out of Carbery as every game is a minefield down there..every team is capable of beating each other on any given day
That’s nonsense and disrespectful.
Reality is the top teams are all playing at higher grades and have left junior.
Teams that win Junior counties in hurling and football are usually blessed with one or even a couple of super players, Cork panelists etc. Leaders and Gladiators amongst their own tribe who lift the whole standard in their club, like a rising tide they lift all boats.. if you go through the past winners list you can identify those key individuals easily almost year by year.

Kilmacabea will win West Cork easily, no good teams left in that grade. Dual clubs and 2nd teams are all that's there, and they get decimated by the senior team or the hurling side of the club as the championship progresses. Kilmac should have gone up a grade years and years ago.
