2025/26 Premier Senior Football Championship

I think Haven are in for a shock and will exit the championship this weekend.
Every other game is fairly certain

It's certainly the most interesting game of the weekend. I think the Haven will have too much firepower for them but an upset certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.
It's been a great group stage so far. Clon are the only 1 of the Big 4 all but guaranteed to progress, it would be great to see a few new faces in the quarters with us.

Player development is placed above everything underage in Clon, and we’re starting to see it pay dividends at senior level.

Like the famous La Masia nursery, the focus is on skill and playing style rather than short term results.

Don’t waste your breath Trav, you’re talking to fellas who have zero understanding of long term planning and the development of a coherent playing style from juvenile to adult level within a club.

These are the guys screaming at refs and kids at underage games and who’d see winning an u14 B county as being the greatest day in the clubs history.

Sadly things like skill acquisition, holistic physical development strategies and long term player progression plans are alien concepts to 99% of Cork clubs. It’s like explaining alegbra to monkeys.

Looking forward to seeing ye play for second time this year ..

I will be at the Haven V Knocknagree and I don’t expect any surprises.Knocknagree are out of their depth here It took the a long time to get out of Senior A going down to Carrigaline and St Michael’s and eventually beating a glorified Intermediate team There will only one winner
