Are some of these meltdowns genuine mental illness or just performative art?

Are people really this fragile mentally or have they just been absolutely brainwashed?

It was kinda funny at first but now it's kinda frightening to see people this badly rattled by an election not going their way. Trump already had a 4 year term. I don't think their lives were honestly changed much at all.
