They ran out of steam and Ideas. One thing about JFD is that when Plan A doesn't work he doesn't have a Plan B. He made changes far too late as well. The game was gone when he brought on subs.Knocknagree bottled it. A woeful second half with the game in their hands
He seems to always ruin the game when he's in charge.Ref gifted Carrigaline three points which didn't help either l. He was a disgrace
He swung the momentum with two to three decisions he made and they got points out of those decisions.Carrigaline finished the better team no doubt about that but sometimes poor decisions can swing games when games are tight. He seems to always ruin the game when he's in charge.
Quirke was a minor in 2014Carrigaline the better team no doubt. They seemed fitter and did well to recover from a sucker punch of a goal. The full back Quirke is definitely worth a look at for Cork imo a serious athlete. Does anyone know what age he is? They are a massive side. Driscoll was some addition for them this year. Desmond also delivered key scores.
Knocknagree have built a great squad and will be there or thereabouts again next year. One or two mistakes cost them today, they can feel a small bit aggrieved about not getting a mark that led to a Carrig point.
Exactly knocknagree punching well above there weightSome context please lads. Carrigaline population 18k plus....Knocknagree circa 200
On paper a mismatch. Fair play to the small club being one game away from the top flight. Congratulations to Carrigaline on their victory.
