2024 Senior A Football Championship

1. CNM 2. Carrigaline 3. Beal Atha 4. Kiskeam
CNM on flying form fancy them to continue that next yr. Beal atha a good side reckon they'll just miss out this ad carrigaline will be good at this grade. Time is running out for kiskeam. Still a good side but this is arguably the most competitive grade in cork.

1. Kanturk 2. Dohenys 3. ODR 4. Fermoy
Tough group and could go either way between the top 3. Fancy kanturls physicality to win the group for them. Dohenys and ODR will be a great game on the final day to see who goes through. Fermoy just a bit off the pace of this group

1. Knocknagree 2. Clyda 3. Newmarket 4. Bishopstown
Again tough to pick the between the top 3 going the go with knocknagree and clyda to do the business without Newmarket edging out bishopstown comfortably.

Champs Kanturk
Relegation Bishopstown

This football grade without doubt one of the most if not most competitive in Cork. One could make a strong case for several teams to win it.

Would expect Knocknagree & Newmarket to progress in Group 3, other groups much harder to call.

But if having a stab in the dark at this stage I will go with.
Group 1: Carrigaline & Beal Atha to qualify with no great confidence. John Crowley, Glenflesk after taking the reins at Beal Atha word has it.
Group 2: Dohenys to kick on again & Kanturk.
Grop3 : Knocknagree & Newmarket.

Johnny Cash across the border again for more of it.

Wont be a very competitive game....CNM much too strong...Kiskeam had a brutal league campaign
I would disagree, Kiskeam have a fierce chance of beating CNM. Kiskeam have always been a tough championship team to play against and with Meehan injury free atm, he will make them stronger. CNM haven't been playing as good as last year, i believe they are missing 2 or 3 bodies from last year so they aren't as strong. The comortas game showed that if they are down 1 or 2, they have no one on the bench.

Kiskeam v Cill na Martra no foregone conclusion but you would fancy CNM.

The other group game there is also an intriguing one. Carrigaline coming off a strong league campaign and with BOD on board facing Ballingeary who have “invested” heavily in high profile management. They too have had a decent year to date albeit in Div 2.

I think bishopstown will get out of the group very strong team this year with a promising full forward in Conor dunne expect him to have a breakout championship, I don’t expect clyda to make it out the group as a core member of their squad, midfielder Kevin Graham tearing his ACL last week in the U21 hurling, best of luck to him with his rehab and hopefully he can come back stronger but think clyda will suffer as a result

And Ballingeary are, or course, very unique in club GAA circles to be "investing" their management. I wonder if anyone else will be decide to follow the trend.

I heard John Evans actually paid CNM for the privilege of managing them last year.
