2024 Premier Senior Hurling Championship

I think the days of the divisions are numbered. Players don’t seem to have the interest and it’s hard to get a buy in from all the clubs. It was also very obvious that the Ballincollig and Eire Og lads wouldn’t pass to each other tonight which is disappointing…
Does look to be going that way, doesn’t have the same appeal as the past and you’ve got a handful of divisions taking it seriously, hard to see it being sustainable in a few years time, most clubs don’t want the hassle of it, disappointing as there was benefits to it but I can see why it’s gone this way.

Imokilly seem very cohesive every year, of course they have a massive pick, with more clubs than some county teams.

Duhallow have conceded tomorrow nights game against Muskerry. Muskerry go through having beaten Carbery. Surely the divisional rounds will have to be seriously looked at going forward - can’t see it lasting much longer. Going by the teams Muskerry and Carbery put out it seems like the interest just isn’t there for some players/clubs

Do away with the divisions/college semi finals to start with. Put Imokilly, UCC and Avondhu in to the round robin group (instead of a bye to semi) with Muskerry, Carbery and Duhallow, top two play off for Q/f spot. Then we will see what divisions are interested.

Ludicrous they are still being entertained in this day and age when all players are well catered for games with their own clubs

Get rid of the lot of them or else make them play under the same rules as the clubs, let them be relegated or promoted and no more double jobbing, if you play with your division you don’t play with your club and vica versa, you’ll soon find out just how committed players are to them then 🤣

You do know that there is only one team that gets in to championship proper? They run there own separate competition now, surely you've heard that.
