2024 Premier Junior Hurling Championship

Correct. They didn't even celebrate their senior A win.

Thought it was ridiculous bringing the ball in for the last goal at the end too. The Kilbrittain player was about to hit when the whistle went
Some refs just want to be the centre of attention
Never good enough to play the game so this is their moment to shine

Entertaining fare there tonight.
It's great for neutral when the ref just leaves them at it. I do think the standard of refereeing in Cork is improving in general. Now look we can all remember dodgy decisions against our clubs etc but on a whole I think we are coming into line with other counties now.

I'm probably happier that Kilbrittan won. Smaller club and probably means more to the whole area.
What happened at full time? Looked like it was going to turn right nasty there for a few seconds. One of the Glen players was absolutely livid and even when being marched off by his team mates he was still boiling. An unusual end to a county final.

No13, he played very well in first half, four or five from play.

Totally agree with you definitely would mean more to a club like kilbrittan especially after the year they had. I think referees can have good days and bad days and some styles suit some teams better but 1 minute of added time at the end when there was 4 played in the first half was baffling for all in the crowd. I think the referee thought kilbrittan are 4 up it's over I'll play one minute and get out of here!
Yes a bit of a shomozel at the end one of the kilbrittan players went into the face of the no.13 at full time. I think with how it ended and then that happening is it any wonder the player wasn't happy!

Leave it flow ? There was nearly 30 frees in a game that wasn’t dirty, there wasn’t a bad stroke the whole game.

1 minute added , if the Glen had another chance it would have been a draw.

It looks like the fight at the end saved the referee, he was down the tunnel before anyone realised.

They missed the straight red, only gave the yellow because they didn't see it but heard the crack of the hurley.

Watched it on clubber and second half was enjoyable, fair play to kilbrittan they picked off their points better in second half. 1 minute injury time was a joke and it should have been 3 at least though.
