I think you’ve 6 good teams and then also 6 very poor teams, the grade is slowly evening out though, the 2 who came up the last 2 years have been a lot better than the equivalent relegated teams

It wasn't that long ago that Cobh had slumped down to Junior B football, and Nicks were up senior.

Good to see both clubs making some progress again.

Downeys are a massive bonus for Nicks tbf. Is Wilk playing football?

Buttevant have really good forwards but seem to be a bit inconsistent. If can sort that I'd give them the edge to win it out.

Think there's a bit of a divide/fall out between hurling and football with regards to management down there which has probably served their footballers well. A number only playing football. Wilk was corner back according to the Echo. I remember seeing him play u14/16 with Cork in football and was equally as good as hurling

I count about 12 players on both the Glen senior hurling squad and the St. Nicks Premier Junior football squad. I'd say the most dual players they've had in a good while. The split season a huge help.

I think both Muskerry sides come out on top here but close games. Canovee haven't kicked on like I thought they would this year but still a dangerous side. Inniscarra riding a crest of a wave in Football and are now out of hurling. Win this weekend and they might be very much contenders

Millstreet v Ballydesmond - Millstreet one of the most disappointing sides in the whole county this year considering the talent in their squad. Think they’ll have too much legs for this Ballydesmond side who are still relying on Donnacha and Niall Fleming but expect Bally to drag them into a dogfight.
