Interesting that you think Kilworth will go down after their strong championship campaign last year. Just curious why you think they will go down?Agree with your predictions for round 1. Aghabullogue will have serious cut off Eire Og though I think, being neighbors and their winning habit in both codes recently. Must be huge confidence throughout the club,
Of all the grades in Cork club hurling this is my favorite. So hard to predict and nothing between the majority of the teams. All comes down to the better team on the day.
Carrigaline V Watergrasshill
Eire Og V Aghabullogue
Ballinhassig V Dungourney
Castlemartyr V Valley Rovers
Kilworth V Ballymartle
Mallow V Ballincollig
I'll have a stab with absolutely zero confidence that I'll be right, and say Ballincollig to win it, with Kilworth to be relegated.
Honestly I'm only basing it on a hunch and nothing more than I don't think they'll get out of the group with Ballinhassig & Ballymartle there. Looking at league table they just about avoided relegation in Division 4 where there's mostly Intermediate A teams. I could be way off though as they've some fine players and league finished up several weeks ago so might not count for much. I think this is the only grade in Cork club hurling where every team has a route to County if things fall their way.Interesting that you think Kilworth will go down after their strong championship campaign last year. Eoin Carey is out for the first round and most likely the second round so you might not be far off it hereHonestly I'm only basing it on a hunch and nothing more than I don't think they'll get out of the group with Ballinhassig & Ballymartle there. Who transferred to them?Ballincollig my favourites to win this grade out with the help of the transfer market
Pearse Morris and another lad from Bishopstown, would imagine it was related to the management leaving as well before the Glen game.Who transferred to them?
Ballincolig is only a villageJust to say as well, there has to be big pressure on Ballincollig & Carrigaline to go up this year. Given the size of the playing populations of both towns and how long both of them have been playing in 3rd tier, they need to be making the breakthrough at some stage.
