2024 Junior A Football Championship

Two heavy defeats for Aghinagh recently. Hard to see them as favourites for Muskerry
They were 3/3 before that, themselves and Mayfield are playing a higher league grade that any other Junior A team are playing, but that's why I have them at 5th this week and not higher. Find it hard to see them being beaten come championship in Muskerry after being so close for so long.

Wasn’t there a similar article this time last year titled sleeping giant?
Now we’ve a Sleeping Giant emerging from the shadows? Doesn’t sound too solid to me, may just want a stretch, snack and go back for a nap 😴
Good young lads coming through hopefully they can go deep, Danny Buck fine coach was with Muskerry last few years

Ya nearly carbon copy with Mossy Barrett. Barry O Mahoney must have a girlfriend up in Donoughmore

St. Marys flying seriously under the radar in Carbery. Scored 6-15 in their most recent club game and top of the DIV 2 league. Always been in and around for the last 5 years. Corcoran sounds unmarkable from what ive heard. Add in the scannells and young cullinane and they will be a force to be reckoned with. They did take a few big scalps last season in Bal and Barryroe and narrowly lost out to kilmacs. Kilmacs another massive force. With Gore jennings and mccarthy having to be marked 1 on 1 it must be a nightmare for any budding young defender in west cork. Mathunas showing that last year was no fluke. Read in the star that they had 7 different scorers in their recent game, very promising sign of squad depth from them. The only factor that i will mention that may cause some irregularities in recent form is the fact that college exams and LC is taking place atm so teams could be down 8-12 lads in certain clubs
