What happened?only heard about it last night, hope he'll pull through.
Fair play to the Aghinagh players today putting in a performance like that, i know they would have done everything to get that win today for their goalie.
Basically as mentioned above, without going into details. The goalkeeper became seriously ill last weekend a few hours after drawn game and had surgery during week. Everything seems to be going in right direction thankfully. What happened?
Massive respect to Aghinagh to overcome what happened and turn out a performance like that. Hopefully that lad is on the road to recovery. From the match report I read Aghinaghs centre forward scored 3-2 from play and still ended up on losing side which seems unbelievable. Been a long time since I've ever heard of anything like that in a football game. Inniscarra hadn't won the Mid-Cork for 35 years and it's only their 2nd time doing so, so I suppose they were overdue the win.Basically as mentioned above, without going into details. Great credit to Aghinagh on their display, was a great game from both sides with some brilliant scores in it.
Douglas Junior B's playing Adrigole in Clon at 1:15pm as a double header with their Junior A's makes sense...also heard that Bandon and Brinny weren't availableKilmacabea v Douglas on in Clon at the weekend how did the Kilmacs pull that off?
I think there's a few Douglas lads who might know where it is ??Will Douglas be able to find the pitch?
