I find it funny that Mitchelstown hardly knew the correct name of the team they were playing. Goes to show they were looking beyond that game.

No they weren’t. They gave Gabriel Rangers full respect. It was an off day and bad performance. People are quick to believe everything they hear. Don’t understand the hate against Mitchelstown with a lot of ye, just another club having a go every year like the rest of the clubs in this grade. The likes of Adrigole / Aghabullogue/ Kanturk/ Cil na matra were in this grade for years too and struggled to get over the line. Seems like theirs a huge issue with Mitchelstown always.

Glanmire have been consistent all year so I'll go with them,also hearing Boherbue have picked up a few injuries?

Everyone has injuries and knocks at this time of year. Boherbue have the experience of winning a junior county not too recently. Glanmire looking to end a drought since the 80s. Both teams know each other very well and from being at their group game, I anticipate it to be a cracker.

Boherbue have some serious operators between Gerry O Sullivan and David O Connor. From being a blow in to the area I’ve watched a lot of Glanmire games the last few years, they are a balanced enough team.

There won’t be much between the teams, whoever wants it more on the day will take it home.

Glanmire full value in second half in fairness Boher did not get going in second half at all. But what was going on with Glanmire team you’d have to wonder. They looked up to nothing in the first half, slow and ponderous, unfit and then made about 4 changes and turned into a far superior team. Darragh Murray, Cathal McCarthy outstanding and Daniel Hogan delivered too. Cracking goal by another sub. I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes there but those subs are either v poor to train or internal politics kept them off.

As a side first time ever I’ve seen a man give away a free for getting his arm tugged and dislocated. Scandalous decision that could have cost Glanmire. Boher played well and will be thereabouts again next year certainly.

Deserved win for Glanmire.

Glanmire had a lot of legs on the bench. They never panicked and took the goals when they were there to be taken.

No fluke, that team has been winning those tight games all year.

Onwards on upwards for that club. About time to.

Boherbue played for 30 mins and forgot about the second half,fair play to Glanmire made hard work of it but what a goal to drive then on to win the game
