Mitchelstown are definitely open at the back. I've seen them twice this year and their backs are great at going forward but the amount of space they leave behind is punishable if up against a good forward line. Glanworth's full forward line consisted of two 38 year olds and a 44 year old and they still caused Mitchelstown trouble. At the other end, while 17 points was good scoring, in previous campaigns, Mitchelstown were putting up scores like 4-12 and 2-18. They haven't put up big scores like that in a while. On paper, Mitchelstown certainly have the best team in the competition but we've been saying that the last 5 years.
