2023 Senior A football

Conor Corbett was very quiet today for Clyda Rovers. Aidan Browne did a decent job on him. He didn't score from play, which isn't good enough from him, by his own standards. Paudie Kissane was Clyda's vest player. Jogged straight off the pitch at the final whistle and hopped into the car to get to Coachford, as he is over Éire Óg seniors. Some man. For Newmarket, Hugh O' Connor showed flashes of his potential today. Good player.
I'm not so sure if you were a Clyda man you'd be too happy running off like that after being knocked out of championship.
By all accounts, some clubs not too happy coached by Kissane but missing championship games due to clashes with other clubs.

You'd have to be sick if from O'Donovan Rossa today.
A great win, not sure they could have done anymore today.
To be put out by a point from another game in the 7th minutes of injury time.
I know you cant please everyone etc and I dunno what the alternative is but i dont like the 3 groups of 4. Think scenarios like a team loosing 2 games and winning last and knocking a team out on scoring difference or h2h and going through is a farce imo. Teams are putting too much into it

He's given clyda enough good days and they know they're lucky to still have him.
As for the clubs he's involved with. They knew what the score was with him before they approached him.

Exactly. Kissane is A legend. Haven’t seen Clyda in a few years but by god what football Kissane played.
As for coaching other teams, there is a standard operating procedure which all coaches use when there is a clash..

Usually it’s If they are still playing they go playing.
If they are just coaching they agree at the start of the year what happens if a conflict of interest arises eg playing against own club with own children playing etc
