Newcestown have to be admired for their effectiveness. Not the prettiest or for the purists but effective.. and just like the Waterford’s and Derry footballers they normally get caught out over the final hurdles..

Think dohenys deserve favourites tag but as we saw a few weeks ago there's nothing between them.
I'd expect dohenys Newcestown final

very tough on Kanturk. I thought they’d win comfortably but the weather may have levelled it out in terms of stopping free flowing football. Both teams are great dual clubs. I think this competition is wide open now as I had kanturk as favourites. Newcestown are set up in a way that they will likely never beat a team by a lot which means a close game where anything can happen.

John Fenton Daly has been some driving force for knocknagree. Whatever injuries they get they just get on with it. Some club.
