Spare a thought for the “bantry “ man who couldn’t get his game there ,fell out with management, transferred to Kanturk last December, played 4 league games ,lost his place, fell out with management there, went crawling back to bantry ,obviously couldn’t play with them so ended up as water boy with them ,now watching the player he thinks he is lifting the cup… congrats Ceann Tuirc

please Explain thank you .

From Minor right up to today Aidan Walsh has played in 18 County finals not to mntion his intercounty career thats what i call legend.

Kanturk were by a distance the better team today. Bantry did well to get to a final but have a bit of work to do to move up the levels again. Plenty young players though so today could be a learning curve in time.

Having been sent the clip of it by a realistic but semi-aggrieved Bantry man, I can’t understand how there wasn’t a penalty and a black card for the trip on Seán O’Leary before the interval. Seemed clearcut so poor call by the officials.

Even if Kanturk went down to 14 though I think they would have won. Bantry needed a big game from Deane and that never materialised. Success will elude any team who just kick the leather off the ball on kickouts at this level, which was a notable problem for Blues today on top of that.

I couldnt understand why they kicked ball after ball down on top of one of the best midfield in the county in any grade...

I Predict Kanturk will be Premier senior in 2 years ,such is their talent
I think they could do similar. Much will depend on having all the Walshes fit and focused and the supporting cast strong aswell. I heard during the week that they didn’t have an u15 or U17s team this year which is a slight cause for concern. In the immediate future they’ll have no problem stepping up in the Senior A grade.

CNM and Uibh Laoire must be kicking themselves after seeing the ease Kanturk won by yesterday. Either team would have caused them major issues for the kanturk backs. kanturk were wide open if Bantry looked up coming out of defence

Cill na Martra had their chances but just couldn’t to beat Kanturk. So if they stick at it could finally get it done next year. But couple of their players getting on a bit.
Uibh Laoire could be a big shout too with a clean bill of health with Kilshannig not far behind in my rankings.
