All political bantz aside now, this is awful- a 12k grant would give these pair a bit of dignity and its not possible. They seem like decent people too and 12k is nothing FFS

There will always be individual cases that pop up but its such small beer, thats what irks me

They may have bought the kitchen and TV years back and have fallen on tough times in the last few years which would hardly be unusual given everything going on

I doubt many people with the money would live like that while they wait for a grant.. maybe they would?
