Ross will beat Clon, heads will be gone now after that beating today, they were 6 months waiting for the Haven and if today is the best they can do they are band average. Game was over at half time Haven just retreated and seen the game out easily. Clon lost the head especially Daly I’ve...

    Cork Minor Football 2024

It has hardly anything to do with the clubs these fellas are with squads from 14 years of age and train more with regional squads than there clubs. I know of players who wouldn't train with there clubs as they were saving themselves for squad training the following few days.

How can clubs develop players when from 15 years old they spend most of there time with development squads? Look at Rebel Og championship structures all games squeezes into a few days so weekends are kept free for squads. Youngs fellas not on squads are hardly playing, good clubs will develop...

Yes, by all means keep all doors open, my point if 15 year olds are on a hurling development squad he is getting all the extra training and S & C he needs, if these lads are also on the football squad other players are losing out altogether as each squad can only accomadate so many.

Yes, someone else will get an opportunity now that Jack has chosen only hurling. The problem is we start squads in Cork at U14 and most of the lads on these squads are dual players, by the time we get to minor we could have on a football squad 6 or 7 lads who also play inter county hurling as...

So players performing well with there clubs shouldnt be called up, if thats the case only lads who have been on squads since they were 17 can play inter county. Look at our U17 & U20 squads a lot of the players on these squads are dual, and if they get a chance to play inter county hurling...
