Thought Gurriers were outstanding, I expected they would be from what I had seen on YouTube and socials. Last gig of a busy tour and they gave it 100. Great to see them in such a small space and I think the album is fantastic. They'll be back next year hopefully but Cyprus Avenue more likely...

Really hope you're right. Potential to be an unreal gig in that room. The lads in the Jade Palace won't be able to bag up the food such will the tremors coming through from the neighbours, never mention trying to have a quiet pint in the front bar.

Hopefully they won't stick them outside. They did for Just Mustard recently. They really should tell us in advance so you can wear the correct amount of layers!!

There was no merch being sold in CA in the usual spot to the left of the bar as you enter. Thought twas odd for a sold out gig. If twas being sold elsewhere I didn't see it.

Great gig. Must have been nearly two hours in total and I went in hope more than expectation. 66 euro seems expensive initially but I don't mind paying the extra it takes to get bands to a venue of this size in Cork (that tbf are definitely more expensive to book), if it means I then don't...

Outrageously staged theatre. They let him back up for the fist pump with a sniper present! Lol. But no doubt a lot of head bangers in the States will swallow it whole and he'll walk this election.

They've rescheduled this to a Monday night which in itself is a bollox of a change but it also now falls in the middle of an 11 day window where I also have tickets to Mercury Rev and Cast in there. Fml

Saw Sprints here in Coughlan's a few weeks ago. Twas sold out since last summer and they'd easily have filled it two or three nights in a row by now. Great gig. Go see them before they're in the bigger venues and I'm sure you won't regret it C.

Will be there, tickets purchased. 👌🏼 Fair fcuks to Cyprus Ave with the bookings so far for this year and getting some good bands over and into our city. Ride, Libertines, Miles Kane and Cast are all also pencilled into my diary. Somewhat makes up for the Marquee absolutely taking the piss...

They are hopping all over much of Europe from June 12th so I had thought twas nailed on they'd have a Marquee gig early that month. Seems perhaps unlikely now after today's announcement.
