Thanks for that Keeks. 6 points from play for Sherlock and 16 each from O Callaghan and O Driscoll Chris Ogs tally is impressive and Corbett's isn't too bad either. We were probably expecting too much from that young man who did well to come back after cruciate injury.

Strange to read a player publicly complaining about his lack of game time. When he was on his game he was good but probably not consistent enough to replace others. Good club player though and the Barrs are the winners now.

Incredible that this high powered group of football experts can spend the bones of a year changing the game of gaelic FOOTBALL and totally disregard the greatest blight on the game............the handpass. Can still throw the thing over the bar and push the thing into the net from a pass.

That is the best analysis of gaelic football I've read here or anywhere else. I hope Jim Gavin's team prohibit any scoring with the hand and penalise any restart that doesn't reach 40 meters.

Today shows us why Hayes opted for the sticks game. He's no longer timid. Would have been a great intercounty footballer too, but Cork is Cork and hurling will always come first.

I think they have the same number of football titles as Cork. For what it's worth I think Joyce is the main reason they are good now. Time will tell if the Dubs win was top class. Peter Canavan says there was a bug in the Dublin camp and most of them were off colour.

Níl aon tón tinn, mar do thón tinn féin. The match was unbearable and unwatchable. Cork football and footballers are well behind the top teams so there's no point blaming anybody for last Sunday. We have a poor team with poor management. Division 2 if we're lucky after next year.

He's in the prelim quarter finals so must be doing something right? His neglect of the bench drives me cuckoo too as it looks like he's too loyal to the original selection. Mark Cronin is a case in point but fair play to him, he grabbed that No 13 jersey the minute he got his chance. Let's hope...

He scored 2 points v Donegal in horrible conditions, got 15 minutes v Louth, unused sub v Fermanagh, Meath and Armagh. Got 2 minutes v Kildare plus whatever extra time. Hardly a good shot at winning a place on an average team but we'll have to trust Cleary and Co, if they think he's not good...

Yes we all feel for them but we must ask the question. How come a county with 57 clubs can be so far ahead of a county with 259 clubs.? There was such a gulf in class it's clear the fault lies in talent selection for a start.

Tomás is full of it. 'Twas all Donegal from him in the first half. Their team set up was marvellous and Cork hadn't a clue how to break them down. Padraig Lodge at least gave us some praise. I switched to C103 for the 2nd half and John Cashman with J F D were top class. Tomás is a typical...

May not have been easy to find the proven coach/manager. I doubt if there was a queue of such talent with their hands up and begging for this job. In all fairness to CCB, these lads were well looked after since way back. Plenty challenge games all over this island against top opposition and...

Alarm bells won't ring in Cork as there's no alarm. Gaelic football is a nuisance and fielding teams now is just paying lip service to Croke Park. How else can last night's shambles be explained?

I don't agree with ya. Two lads, one from Skibb and the other from Newmarket cost us. They wouldn't score in a brot***. Lynch's only negative during his long career was buying dummies from the red lad from Killarney.
