I give Kilshannig almost zero chance in the Munster. Cnm are a better side than them and they caught a hungover milltown team on the hop. Not taking anything away from them tho, their rise from junior to senior in just 5 years is remarkably impressive.
Bal on paper are by far the best team in Carbery, But they have zero bottle and are what you’d call a league team. They came into this game far too arrogantly and got punished for it.
Huge credit to mathunas, I thought they’d lost their chance 2 weeks ago but they proved today how far they’ve come as a team. Back to the drawing board again for bal
Sars getting a hard doing on here but the truth is that they came up against a far superior side in imokilly full of current and future cork seniors. At least it’s the Clare champions this year for sars and not Ballygunnar or the Limerick champs.
The senior a game today will be a far bigger spectacle and will no doubt have a far better atmosphere. I wonder will the weather play into either teams hands in the premier senior game, they’re both very wristy teams so I would think not.
Balinascarty missing some key players in the Carbery final which could tilt things in mathunas favour. I would still however just fancy bal in what should be a high scoring clash.
Barrs really stood up last 15 mins. Sherlock had a really poor display of shooting which is unlike him. Dore and dorgan were excellent for collig. I’d fancy the haven to pull through against the barrs narrowly.
The grades are working brilliantly as they are. Absolutely no need to go changing the number of teams, as things are now nobody is safe from the drop and also most of the twelve teams in each grade have a shot of at least making a semi final.
