I agree. My general comment is that a lot of the groups at Junior A are fairly pointless. Looking across the various divisions you clearly have obvious winners etc. In some places you’ve 11 teams and still 8 going forwards to QFs.

I agree. A couple more divisions needed at county level for the football anyway. Consideration may be given to having those 2 leagues on north & south basis to reduce travel for small junior clubs. Maybe 1 league more needed in the hurling too.

115 sounds slightly low You have 60 playing county league and 7 divisions with another 70 Junior A&an clubs I’d say. In Cork despite the narrative pushed around by the city, there are more playing football, 20% more clubs and 20% more players.

The game of hurling is dying in front of our eyes. Cork are its only savior and we aren’t setting the world in fire here

No idea about Buttevant personally but a team that loses every game has to be relegated imo. In Junior A across the county there is a problem in that you have too many clubs still playing A and the gap between the top few and the rest in each division is huge. A further grade is required imo...
