Maybe they are roping in some of the boys with the jaunting carts on the bypass. They'd definitely throw off the shackles !

Travis last time u were spouting this kind of talk, clon and Ross treated us to what was probably the worst 60 minutes of football ever seen. Actually I wouldn't even call it football.

Yes they will, but it's what they are doing in there is wrong. I doubt any sports medicine Dr would advise lifting anything more than their own body weight. And the lack of supervision is another issue.

Haven far superior. Will take something special to beat them this year. The Barrs are the only ones who could I think. Very deserving of their win v clon. Oh well time will tell if they have/ will appeal the red card.

🤣🤣🤣, that will be a huge challenge to keep Carbery from scoring 🤣🤣🤣 I'd say more of the same crap ..you'd hope clon will go out and play like they did against Castlehaven . If its like the game in Ballineen last year , God help us. If Ross don't get at least z draw they will be in serious...

Any truth in the rumour that Clon are appealing the red card their new wing forward received in the haven match. Heard the wrong man got the card but I was at the ame and they didn't seem to put up too much of a protest at the card.

You are right,Their own body weight is what they should be using. My heart goes out to Corbett, o Donovan etc..injuries like they have impact on their mental well being as much as anything else.

Nothing wrong with going into gym but the programs they are doing , given by money driven s&c fellas who want them to look good but have no idea what's actually right or wrong for them , are ridiculous. And they are left do them know their own. My own club once upon a time wouldn't let anyone...

I think your point re prompter medical treatment/ good nutrition is excellent, as is your point re tendons etc. Boys don't stop growing until their early 20s . The condensed season now means for example lads playing u16 / u18 football championship the past week and maybe 2 or 3 playing junior...

ACL is 12 months . I think alot of the IC players try do it in less time but I'd imagine if it's the second time you'd hope he'd take his time and not feel pressured. He also had a shoulder injury that required surgery..that was 6 months out. Hard to see how you'd keep coming back after that

Another huge issue I have is who looks after the Players Mental Fitness/ Health whilst going through rehabilitation from such injuries. It's too much push push to get back on the pitch. And Jimmy BM you are spot on..most of these players have easy / cushy jobs...how many do you hear these days...

This " Gym / S&C " is going on with a decade. The Players named above are all Footballers ( open to correction) not dual club players. I'm hearing of clubs having 15/16 year olds starting gym programs. Nuts stuff. Another problem I think is alot of these s&c guys have huge egos. ( not all...

Too much time spent in the gym and / or with these S&C guys. 6 to 8 weeks pre season is imo ample time for this. After pre season it should be all on pitch. Lads giving 3 to 4 nights training and then expected to do a gym program the other days is nuts. The amount of lads I have heard in the...

I think they have it all. Tactics, physical & mental conditioning. After seeing them Sat v Clon and last year v clon also, in my opinion they have improved more. Or are other clubs slipping in standards? James McCarthy did amazing work with them the last few years. He's a fantastic coach /...

    2024 Premier Senior Football Championship

You'd think after the beating they got last from Valley's and the woeful affair v clon , they'd have done something to rectify matters on lots of levels. Haven will win the County easily v the barrs. Hard to say who the other 2 semi finalists will be ..easier to say whom it won't be ie Eire og ...
