Counihan's teams never beat Kerry in Killarney or Croke Park or in a knock-out game iirc. They only ever beat them in Cork in Muster championship games afaik.

A few 'shocks' in the football championship this weekend, New York, Roscommon, Clare....

Remember the talk last year of agreeing to play Kerry in Killarney so that we could play them in Cork this year and next year. So much for that!

According to RTE, today is only the second time ever that Clare beat Cork in senior championship football. Could that be right?

At least we won't be playing Kerry in a Munster final in Killarney this year. Our record down there is not good.
