The Official Man Utd Thread - Part 3.

Looks like Glazers not happy with any of the bids received and may look instead at sale of minority stake or further loans to raise ÂŁÂŁÂŁ for stadium redevelopment.

Abromivich may have been lucky, albeit unintentionally, to have been forced to sell Chelsea when he did.
LFC and MUFC owners may have missed the boat.

The Media will continue the speculation on this. The glazers want 5bn, 6bn, 7bn etc
They might take in minority investors etc. 9 pm deadline for 2nd bids etc etc

It's just click baiting.

The Glazers have no interest in bringing in investors, upgrading OT, the Playing Squad or the training ground. That makes no financial sense.

They are selling because they are out of money - simple as.

The Raine Group will obviously try to up the ante and probably earn more commission as the price goes up.

Radcliffe is a very clever businessman and is much too smart to get into a bidding war with an Oil/Gas State. That would be commercial suicide. He'll pay what he values the asset at and what Qatar bids has no relevance to him.

Qatar have top level corporate banking advisors and won't bid against themselves.

The Glazers will walk away with 3-4 Bn plus the dividends take out. They can't be assured of an oil/gas state buyer next time if they delay their exit so they are going. Full stop.

Utd supporters would go apeshit if the sale doesn't go ahead. Games will be stopped and the share price will crash. Glazers know that. They are selling. Bet your bottom dollar on that

It looks as if Qatar has decided to buy Utd and if so they will buy Utd. It's far better sports washing than a one off WC event. Sheik Jassim :- 'Does anyone remember where I put the key of the fucking petty cash box ? '
The Psycho in the Kremlin has financed Qatar's purchase 3 times over by now. Everyone know this and knows the outcome - fair play to that Keveh Lad in Sky Sports for trying to make this an interesting story.

IMO it's not if - but when the deal is inked.

Agree with all that apart from the stopping of the games and share price crashing part. Utd supporters don't have the stomach for the fight as they know there are people just waiting for their season tickets and day trippers could fill in any gaps left by protesters.

They're considered "legacy fans" for a reason.

what is there to answer lad?

Any sane person will understand my dig/joke at Sancho has nothing to do with his mental health, you're bringing this up to absolve him from any criticism.

Grow up.

You had some lazy dig at Sancho and when it was pointed out to you hes had mental problems this season you said 'its a line' and 'if he isnt right he shouldn't be playing'.

It's not a line and he has missed about 3 months as Ten Hag has got the player right.

Just one of the reasons Ten Hag has a lot of credit is the sensitive way hes handled the young mans problems.

You could be right. Although I think it would unleash such fury that they might organise and get active again. Stopping the Liverpool Game scared the crap out of the Mutants. Ist time ever, one of them made a statement to the fans.

I wonder if Hank has published a timeline for when he deems it acceptable for people to criticise Sancho's onfield performances?

Maybe it's on the same Google Sheets where the SMCs publish who they are supporting in each of their games.

Imagine if there were a nation state and a British billionaire vying for ownership of Bumnal.

Not something ye will ever have to worry about, the type of football club you'd pick up in the middle aisle of Lidl.
