Thought she was great in Cheers. Even better than Shelly Long although I saw Kirstie's character first and Shelly's character in re-runs.

I thought Jamie Lee Curtis's comments were a bit strange:
Curtis, who starred opposite Alley on “Scream Queens,” called Alley a “great comic foil” and a “beautiful mama bear” in real life.

“She helped me buy onesies for my family that year for Christmas. We agreed to disagree about some things but had a mutual respect and connection. Sad news,”.

Agreed that her character was better than Shelly Long's. Sharper and wittier imo.

Like Fraser they are well developed, warm and funny with a twist of pathos and at times extremely funny.

Not sure that I agree here.
The show never went too far imho.

It's a great show but the guys in the bar ribbing Diane about being sent to a "loony bin" would not be allowed these days.

Nor the stereotyping of the Italian with 7 kids.

Calling Carla's French Canadian boyfriend a 'frog'.

Sam's persistent attempts to sleep with Kirsty Ally would be considered sexual harassment nowadays etc.
