Türkiye conducts attacks on Kurds in Syria

Türkiye has begun it's attack on Kurdish positions in northern Syria and Syrian gvt which is also defending the Kurds is also coming under fire, this might be the beginning of a campaign to go after the Kurds much hated in Türkiye. This comes at the backdrop of improving relations between Ankara and Damascus but Ankara sees it's security threatened by so called terrorists. In Belgrade recently talk between the two countries brought up the potential for refugees to return to Syria now that the war there is over.

Vlad would want to keep his options open, wouldnt trust Assad as far as i could fart. He might get the protection of Kilgarvan, they would deal with the devil.

The Syrian gvt still has an ally in Iran and there is a bit of a rapproachment with Türkiye.

And of course now that Sverige and Suomi have joined NATO, I suppose Türkiye will be looking for payback.....
And of course if this goes wrong, there'll be Hellas to pay.
