Cork u20 Hurling 2023

Red i think the standard in Munster was way higher than Leinster and if we perform to 90% of our ability we should win. Keeping 15 men on the pitch will be vital.

Offaly schools all over social media with messages of support for their U20 team
Great to see the hurling revival in the faithful county - just not this Sunday though!!

Ben O Connor plays a very physical game, hopefully the ref leaves the game flow because giving away frees against a smaller team could be our downfall.
I think Ben hasn't always got his timing in tackles correct at this level from a lack of hurling match practice, he was the total opposite last year in the County Senior Championship games and the Munster Club semi v Ballyea. He looked rusty v Charleville but much sharper afterwards. However he paid the penalty for a couple of late body hits and got sent off v Limerick while in the same game Adam English jabbed a player with his stick in the lower stomach/privates area and the ref and linesman didn't want to know.

Interesting to see Downey at mid field. Looks like a strong team over all. Best of luck to the team on Sunday. Hon de Rebels!!!
