he’s our best player alongside Powter if fully fit.

I wouldn’t rule him out yet, time is running out but not definite yet. If he doesn’t wear red this year, hopefully he’ll wear green and red. A halfback line of himself, Clancy and Sean White is as good as anything in the country.

Clancy played a league game for Clon last weekend. Far and away the best player on the field. If this guy doesn’t play for Cork this year it will be criminal. Has had a bad run with injuries but I’d expect to see him on the bench for Clare and moving in to the first 15 as competition progresses.

Absolutely no truth in that, no off the field issues. Clancy is a solid character, excellent trainer.

If his performance against Skibb last weekend was anything to go by, hes in the form of his life. Hes an option in the half back line as well as full back line. Could see him centre back as we have no centre back to speak of.

As for his character, you’ll find very few who don’t hold him in the highest regard. For the purposes of this forum, he’s a top class footballer whose commitment is above reproach, and that’s all that matters in this context.
