For what they did to the club? Utd have outspent City in the last 10 yrs. Every Utd manager was massively backed. And the owners are the problem...and deserve to be attacked with a bat?🤦‍♂️

It's a very interesting time to be buying a multi-billion dollar sports team. Especially for Ratcliffe, who is said to be funding his bid through loans from JPMorgan & Goldmans.

The 69% (i.e. Glazer ownership) that he's after, plus covering the existing club debt would mean he'd need the bones of £4bn to secure a controlling stake. That's a lot of dough when interest rates are so high.

Given the events of the last 10 days or so will those banks honour the terms they've agreed, or will they want a higher interest rate to compensate for the riskier global banking environment in general? Will he have anywhere near the same flexibility of the Qataris to increase his bid?
