kileens anti social housing protests

The most stupid politician in the city.
He is the only politician brave enough to call out travellers and their behaviour, consistently. You'll be along time waiting for Mick Barry, Tommy Gould etc. to do it, in fact Tommy actually blamed settled people for the issues in Elis's Yard.
By the way Mick Barry is the most stupid politician in the City by a country mile.

Maybe so but seems plenty expecting SF to be as vocal in their opposition to government on immigration/refugees as they are on health, housing, justice etc and are disappointed in their response so far!!

Eoin O Broin went down the line of "people should blame government inaction and not the refugees" around the time of East Wall protests and apparently didn't get a whole load of thanks for his contribution!!

Sinn Féin have long used populism to soak up disenchanted voters which in other countries have been soaked up the far right. This
was grand when the populism was based on liberal attitudes to addressing housing, and water charges before that. But they're caught now that this has kicked off, and we're likely to see rise of a more established far right political movement in the country now.

Agree with you there.
