I just checked there. It's an autobiography so yes, he wrote it himself.WTF? He wrote it himself?

Footballers (and many others) usually use ghostwriters. Michael Owen admitted he hadn't read his own autobiography.I just checked there. It's an autobiography so yes, he wrote it himself.
I thought of that but the writing isn't professionally done. It's a basic tale of his life. Maybe it was a ghost writer but he could have found someone betterFootballers (and many others) usually use ghostwriters. Michael Owen admitted he hadn't read his own autobiography.
A book like that wouldn't be aimed at a particularly literate audience, it has to be pitched at a low level to sell.I thought of that but the writing isn't professionally done. It's a basic tale of his life. Maybe it was a ghost writer but he could have found someone better

If it was in crayon then he definitely wrote it himself.I thought of that but the writing isn't professionally done. It's a basic tale of his life. Maybe it was a ghost writer but he could have found someone better
First 'proper book' I ever read was a biography of Pelé when I was about 7 and it was brilliant. Some serious snobbery towards sports books and biographies of sports stars here. Some of the best books I've ever read have been biographies.
Garrincha by Ruy Castro and A Strange Kind of Glory by Eamon Dunphy are magnificent.
Mick Foley the wrestler wrote two of his own biographies and they were brilliant reads too.
