FFG Government Ministers caught again

Generally a good post PROC and I agree there's been some amount of whataboutery indulged in by the "but but Sinn Féin" crew, but can you explain how sticking to posting about FFG Government Ministers (namely English and Paschal on this thread so far) is whataboutery on this thread titled

FFG Government Ministers caught again

Thanks
My point is the core issue is being bypassed.

Case in point - MLMcD asks a question - LV responds with donations from Dowdall.

The issue isn't who is worst, the issue is standards.

Saw a post over the last few days saying something to the effect of a "a minor issue with Paschal".

I wouldn't like to talk for them but I feel sure if you took the parties out of it and asked Earl or Meridian if they believed TDs should be held to the highest standard of conduct, they would say yes, I am sure you would too. But look at the nature of the posts in this thread.

Better candidates would certainly help as for the 1st time in my voting career i voted only 1,2 and 3 because the rest imho were useless and i would say i have been proved right.

Do you honestly think all 4 in CNC are worse than the likes of Lowry, Beardy Healy-Rae, Mattie McGrath, or Sleepy Ryan?

They are except for sleepy ryan the most dangerous man in the government

Agreed on Sleepy being a dangerous man because he has a hand on the tiller. Beardy Healy-Rae is way thicker, and may be even more powerful than ANY of the 4 in CNC.

"Noah's Ark is more believable than climate change" and that "God is in charge of the weather" just about sums that lunatic up.

Whatever about Sleepy's national views (wolves in every woodlands and one car per village), he is apparently pretty decent local rep and even allowing for GP getting a kicking next time out, should keep his own seat.

Bacik could be the high profile casualty here - goodwill towards her in by election has all but evaporated locally with the small concerns of the common folk by all accounts beneath her!
Has not exactly busted a gut to transform the fortunes of the party at national level either!

She is the Kier Starmer of Irish Politics and just as bizarrely leads the Labour Party here.

She will do well in Dublin as will Ryan.
That is where the bulk of their votes (seats???) will come from.

The rise of S.F. should have been Labours, Social Democrats & PBP's opportunity to create a political space for left wing socialist politics minus the organised crime and glorifying murder/supporting global despots links that Sinn Fein overtly crave.

Bacik has been invisible.

Not sure about that! Have lost out to SF and other left wing candidates recently. Only 3 tds in Dublin - relying on local big personal vote getters, Sherlock, Kelly, Howlin for the few seats they have and they are stagnant in the polls.
Bacik needs to up her game considerbly or she's in big trouble.
