Apparently if Glen appeal, the GAA don't have a choice under the rules but to grant them a replay. Few lads could be waking up from a 2 day bender tomorrow morning and told they have to go again next week!!

Being from a club that has been on the wrong end of too many bad refereeing decisions for it to be merely coincidental, I can empathise with Glen and know too well the sour taste that may linger for years.

However a replay wouldn’t be justified, all the what if talk is BS, in reality, deep down all parties know the extra man for 5 seconds made feck all difference.

They’d probably want a fortnight in the interest of fairness to both sets of players but the GAA and fairness don’t usually go hand in hand.

Either way this is a wholly embarrassing debacle for the GAA. Kilmacud will be bricking it. Imagine losing the replay.
