So the Batshit Crazy Green Party are now implementing a scheme where you pay between 15cents and 25cents deposit for a recyclable drinks can or bottle.
You can then return said bottle to the retailer where you bought it and they will give you back this ransom.

Currently you place the used recyclable bottles and cans in your recycling bin which is then collected from outside your house. The new system as proposed by the batshit crazy green party will result in the establishment of a new quango, chaired by Tony Keohane, with it's own website, (www.re-turn.ie) and ancillary marketing and pr costs all to encourage people to make more unnecessary journeys.

For a guy who criticises others about rhetoric he indulges in a hell of a lot of it himself. What actual drastic hard action has he nailed his colours to in the face of other parties? What specific policy is it that Ryan wants to impose against the wishes of other parties in a make or break decision? Or is it just "we should all be driving diesel SUVs" 12 years on?

Look: they're just the same as all the other politicians. They drove an SUV onto a footpath yesterday towing a "mobile drinks recycling unit" to promote their new tax on home recycling.

Don't fall for the hypocritical horseshit. Don't vote for these bluffers. They'll say and do anything for votes.

If you place ten plastic bottles or cans in your recycling bin at home each week this "initiative" will cost you between €78 and €100 per annum.

If you choose to avoid this charge you can make an additional journey to where you bought them and you will get your own money given back to you.

But do not drive an SUV. And do not park on the pavement.

Second time now seeing as you ran away the last time I asked, where did Ryan say this?

He didn't say it in so many words but the greens when last in government encouraged drivers out of petrol cars by no longer taxing cars on engine size but put it on particular emissions, with their fallacy at the time that diesel engines were better for people than petrol engines. It meant that large diesel cars like 2L and more could pay a fraction of the tax that more popular 1 to 1.3 petrol cars had up to then. Surely even you would have noticed the upsurge in larger diesel cars after the last time the greens were in power here.
