The concrete levy is a big issue for government, SF bringing a bill to have it removed, Last week Pearse said he agrees with a levy
but not right now, He now seems to have a change of mind,
Nice try jimmy. The concrete levy is a big mistake for the government. Even aside from the Rural Alliance and Labour Party who'll support the SF bill, Willie O'Dea said that he thought the government (as though he wasn't a member of the government parties and making them the government) said it was a mistake, and it was something he "spotted"
There needs to be a levy on those businesses who made big profits from the building of the mica houses, including the banks, not on those hard pressed buying new houses or hoping to be able to build a small extension on their house.
I think more likely at least 1 of them will form part of the next government. You'd be forgiven for forgetting that the government are FG, FF and Greens.
And at least 2 of them will form the next government.
