I heard about the Fingal thing. Supposedly someone with the social media accounts went nuts and started following loads of transphobic hate people, got a bollocking over it, now the Sunday Times is framing it as some poor thing getting in trouble for following Rowling.

The “unauthorised activity” in question, by all accounts, is that Fingal Library’s twitter accounts had “followed” people who share “transphobic views”. This accusation had been levelled, a few hours before the account was silenced, by a Green Party County Councillor named Karen Power.
