The 3 day war

Never a 3 day war. Ukraine was building defenses, line after line, trench after trench, for the last 8 years. It was always going to take some time to blast them sequentially out of each one, but the Russians have done that slowly and methodically.

The wonder weapons, the 1million army that never existed and descended into the mist like the ghost of Kiev ….

It’s all just about over. Ukraine knows it (witness the purge this week) and the US knows it. Next steps are the face savings exits. I give Zelensky to 1,000 pages, 1,200 max.

They pulled back. They wisely showed they have a reverse gear. It is a pity the Ukrainians don’t have one as they have consistently and stupidly sent their soldiers into one death cauldron after the next.

The US is another one that has famously never seemed to have a reverse gear, always preferring to double down rather than admit they are wrong. As I previously said, they are too arrogant to comprehend their own stupidity.

Anyway, the big picture from a military standpoint, is it’s effectively all but over and just a question of time now. The bigger question for me is what degree of chaos comes afterwards. …..

Because the initial pretend attacks on Kiev and Kharkov were a Military tactic to divert Ukrainian Forces away from the real Russian objective of control of the Donbass Republics territory.
A reduced Russian Force was used and the plan succeeded in pinning down thousands of Ukraine Military in Kiev and Kharkov.
Russian losses were expected in the deception.
There is no way a small force of 40k Russian Military could success in controlling a City of 3 million people.
This was a classic of Military deception to manage the battlefield and the Media overdosed on the false victory.

M8 the Donbas didn’t kick off in earnest till the Russians pulledout of Kiev and the Kharkiv that they couldn’t take. The only Classic Military deception was what the FSB Fed to Vlad that he had a modern military capable of taking on NATO not to mind an under equipped and undermanned Ukranian army. Western Ukraine is flat open country after that, all the way to the Polish border, with no large conurbrations or Industrial areas between.

The boomerang backfiring sanctions, all the rowing back and side deals that the EU is now cutting with Russia, the absolute togetherness of the BRICS and more countries ready to come on board, the reversals and tepid levels of support coming from the West as reality finally starts to kick in ….

Hopefully, it all ends soon. Either way, Russia will undoubtedly prevail. A stupid war that should never have happened …..
