Back to school is financial pinch time for most households in this state. As I argued with you previously sticking rigidly to a budget in October nearly two months later made no sense. And the Government eventually woke up to that fact.

I have decided to just buy uniforms for the kids in school colours un crested, many are doing the same,

I think most schools will go that way tbh. That and the farce of recommended school books being changed every couple of years, either in revision or to a completely new title. In two or three years the likes of history and maths haven't changed much but the f**ken books seem to. Who is getting that extra money and why?

Re the free school travel, will that just create a surge in demand and mean demand far out strips supply?
Take a family who normally drive the kids to school, they will now see the bus as the best option,

Trying to wean people away from their private cars and into using busses is part of the Green Agenda jimmy. It means less vehicles on the road and less fuels burnt if the families that normally drive their kids to school put them on the bus.

The two greenies that lost the whip and McSharry are still voting with the government. McHugh will probably continue to do so in future.

To be fair to him and indeed the Mica crowd, they have a very valid point about the foundations that The Government says they are not allowing for.

MLMD says SF are considering putting a motion of no confidence in the government before the summer
recess, she said they will decide tomorrow, She also called on the independents who vote with the government to stop doing so,
She says they are ready for an election, what is there to decide so,? if they want the government out put forward the motion and see how it goes,
